An international association of tax and legal professionals recently announced the expansion of its platform in the Asian market by collaborating with one of the largest full-service law firms in Sri Lanka.
Andersen Global, an international association of legally separate, independent member firms comprised of tax and legal professionals, has a Collaboration Agreement with Varners, which is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, a Jan. 18 press release stated. The firm has eight partners and over 50 professionals.
“Led by Managing Partner Mahinda Haradasa, Varners specializes in banking and finance, commercial, intellectual property, litigation, real estate and telecommunications, international trade and dispute resolution,” according to the release.
Varners’ collaboration with Andersen Global is a milestone for the company as it seeks further expansion, Haradasa said in the release.
“Our professionals’ extensive industry knowledge and commitment to stewardship has allowed our firm to continually meet the demands of the ever-evolving legal landscape,” Haradasa said.
Established in 2013, Andersen Global provides tax and legal services around the world with more than 9,000 professionals in over 326 locations, according to the release.
