Wipro Ltd. is acquiring LeanSwift Solutions, a Florida-based system integrator that provides consulting, business solutions and technical services.

According to a Dec. 15 release, Wipro is a global information technology, consulting and business process company. The acquisition coincides with the company’s strategy to expand its cloud services capabilities. LeanSwift Solutions has service capabilities that include enterprise resource planning, e-commerce, digital transformation, supply chain, warehouse management systems, and business intelligence and integrations.

It is the system integrator of Infor Products and in 2020, was recognized by Infor as Innovative Partner of the Year for North America.

“We are happy to welcome LeanSwift to the Wipro family,” said Harish Dwarkanhalli, president of Applications and Data, iDEAS for Wipro Ltd. “Wipro’s deep domain capabilities and integrated cloud portfolio under Wipro FullStride Cloud Services, combined with LeanSwift’s strong Infor credentials, brings a unique value proposition for our customers to drive digital transformation based on Infor’s industry cloud platforms. This acquisition will establish a strong, industry-focused Infor practice that will help us win large deals in the Cloud ERP space.”

LeanSwift has development offices in the United States, Sweden and India. It serves clients in a variety of industries including food and beverages, manufacturing, chemicals, fashion and distribution. The release stated that LeanSwift will establish Wipro as a cloud services market leader.

“The combined entity will provide Wipro an edge in key transformation deals, especially in the manufacturing and distribution industry, combining Infor CloudSuite and broader cloud-native digital capabilities,” the release stated.

LeanSwift CEO Anise Madh said she was proud of the team and is excited to join the Wipro team.

Over the last decade, LeanSwift has gathered functional and technical expertise working with customers around the world, she said.

“We have built value added products and carved a niche for ourselves in the industry as an Infor services specialist,” Madh said. “Our complementary capabilities and shared vision will drive change in the industries that we serve, find new growth opportunities for our employees, and help our clients realize value.”

The acquisition is still undergoing closing conditions and it is expected to be finalized by March 31.
