Ksana Health has been selected to provide its mental health care solutions services to Denmark-based company, Novo Nordisk.
"Being selected by Novo Nordisk to be a part of the Prevention Accelerator program underscores the value of continuous objective measurement in addressing an urgent unmet need in behavioral health assessment and its critical role supporting overall improved health outcomes,” Dr. Nick Allen, co-founder and CEO of Ksana Health, said.
For this partnership, Ksana Health will use its remote measurement platform, Vira, which presents measurable behavioral patterns as a basis for the best health strategy. The digitally enhanced platform turns these behavioral patterns into insights that can benefit individuals.
Ksana Health will work in conjunction with the Denmark venture's Global Prevention Accelerator. Besides making a global impact as the name suggests, the digital solutions can be tailored to local populations.
Earlier this year, Ksana Health utilized this method with its data-driven insights to predict and prevent obesity.
“Based upon a truly objective understanding of mental health's correlation with physical health diseases like obesity, we aim to give individuals and their healthcare providers personalized insights to improve overall health and well-being," Dr. Allen said.
