Bensussen Deutsch & Associates LLC announced the opening of a new distribution and fulfillment center Dec. 9 in Amsterdam to streamline shipping times, boost importing and cut costs for its global clients.
According to a news release, the location of the new facility was selected in the European Union to allow BDA to expand its reach and quickly ramp up operations across Europe.
"Between Brexit, the COVID-19 pandemic and continuing supply chain slowdowns, the past few years have created new global challenges," Jay Deutsch, CEO and co-founder of BDA, said in the release. "This expansion is one of many investments in our infrastructure across the globe to ensure we continue to deliver solutions for our partners in the most efficient and economical way possible."
The company noted in the release, that the new facility, will enable it to efficiently respond to clients’ needs across the EU, eliminating issues with borders and regulatory concerns.
With the new distribution and fulfillment center, BDA now has more than 70 offices around the world, including sites in Canada, France, China, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines.
The company serves as a merchandizing agency for several well-known brands, including Allianz, Hulu, and the NFL.
