Mars Inc. has announced in a press release the grand opening of its newest M&M's store in Berlin.
The new venture will include a café, a karaoke garden, an M&M-themed graffiti wall, and a shop with exclusive M&M'S Berlin merchandise, all located on Kurfürstendamm, a popular, vibrant shopping street that brings together people from all backgrounds, according to the release.
"People want to experience fun and entertainment with their favorite brands," Mars Wrigley Germany General Manager Carsten Simon said in the release. "M&M'S, like no other food brand, can offer great experiences, generating beautiful moments and bringing out smiles. Fans, Berliners and visitors from all over the world can experience this in our M&M'S store."
The new location will span nearly 3,000 square meters, according to the press release.
"M&M'S believes in a world where everyone feels they belong and, as a brand, we think fun is the most powerful way to connect with others," Mars Wrigley Germany Portfolio Director, Chocolate and Ice Cream Heike Lommatzsch said. "The new Berlin store brings this purpose to life through visuals, graphics and language, and embraces the notion that all together we're more fun, and individuality is celebrated."
According to the press release, the new location will meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental eDesign (LEED) standards.
