Accion Labs recognized with 2021 Stratus Award for cloud computing

Accion Labs was awarded a 2021 Stratus Award for cloud computing during the Business Intelligence Group’s annual business award program.

Maze, a product developed by Accion, was highlighted by the company upon receiving the award. The product leverages blockchain and decentralized databases as a “ready-to-use architectural framework”, an Oct. 8 release from the company states.

“Accion Labs is at the forefront of the cloud helping to drive practical innovations in the cloud," Chief Nominations Officer of the Business Intelligence Group Maria Jimenez said in the release. "The cloud is now part of the fabric of our personal and professional lives, and we are thrilled that our volunteer judges were able to help promote all of these innovative services, organizations and executives."

The company spans more than 2,600 engineers across 14 offices within the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom and the Asia-Pacific region. 

Accion specializes in identifying and connecting companies with the appropriate products offering cloud technologies, the release states.

According to the release, Maze is used to analyze various client applications, as well as for Graminno, an Accion Labs corporate social responsibility initiative to ensure an environmentally and economically sustainable rural atmosphere,
