Leading consumer electronics company TCL Electronics entered a new partnership with California-based Activision for Call of Duty: Vanguard.
TCL has worked with Call of Duty North America since 2018.
"We are delighted to extend our relationship with Activision," Shaoyong Zhang, CEO of TCL Electronics, said in a press release. "We are passionate about providing fans with the very best gaming experience and with our 2021 TCL Mini LED and QLED TVs, we are doing just that."
Activision executives were excited about the continued relationship as well.
"Call of Duty: Vanguard is primed to deliver a stunning range of gameplay experiences for the entire gaming community," Will Gahagan, director of Global Partnerships and Integrated Marketing for Activision Publishing, said in a press release. "We are excited to continue working with TCL and we are excited for gamers around the world who will be able to experience the game, in all its glory on a TCL TV, when it drops in November."
TCL is the fastest-growing consumer electronics company in the industry. Founded in 1981, TCL now has operations in more than 160 markets across the world. In future collaborations with Activision, TCL is planning on using key channels and touchpoints to make its products more immersive.
TCL TVs provide a combination of Mini LED, QLED and up to 8K resolution with HDMI 2.1. Up to 120Hz high refresh rate dynamic compensation, reduced color trailing, blurring and judder, plus Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and eARC are other features available on the TCL televisions.
In 2020, TCL ranked second in global LCD TV market share. TCL's main areas of focus are the research, development and manufacturing of consumer electronics products including TVs, audio and smart home appliances.
Activision is headquartered in Santa Monica, Calif., and produces interactive entertainment. The company is listed in the S&P 500.
