Top smart glasses and augmented reality firm Vuzix recently received an order from wholesale solutions distributor CAMtria and is planning to expand operations across Canada, according to a press release.
"This order from CAMtria further strengthens our presence in Canada, where extensive growth opportunities exist for Vuzix Smart Glasses across CAMtria's served market verticals," Paul Travers, president and CEO of Vuzix, said in the press release. "Vuzix looks forward to establishing a distribution relationship with CAMtria that will steadily expand over time."
The company holds 210 patents, patents pending and numerous IP licenses in the video eyewear field and is a leading supplier of smart glasses and augmented reality (AR) technologies and products for the consumer and enterprise markets.

Recognized for innovation, Vuzix has won Consumer Electronics Show awards in that area over the last 16 years.
Founded in 1997, Vuzix is based out of Rochester, New York.
