U.S.-based Parallel Wireless, Inc., is expanding its footprint across the globe with open RAN research and development centers in the U.S., U.K., Israel and India, according to a press release from the company.
Based in Nashua, New Hampshire, Parallel is an open radio access network company supplying the globe’s leading G (5G, 4G, etc.) broadband connectivity, according to the release.
"With state-of-the-art open RAN research and development centers across the globe, we are disrupting the future of mobile wireless networks by enabling mobile network operator (MNO) customers to offer cost-effective, easily scalable, All G broadband connectivity. Join Parallel Wireless and drive the future of mobile communications," Keith Johnson, president of Parallel Wireless, said in the release.
In the past 24 months, Parallel’s global team has doubled in size in some of the main departments, according to the release.
Started in 2012, Parallel has the most open RAN deployments in the world, according to the release.
Across the globe, Parallel Wireless research and development centers are expanding to accelerate open RAN development and testing capabilities as MNOs upgrade their networks to 5G and beyond, according to the press release.
