Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Germany's top national soccer league, the Bundesliga, are partnering to bring two new Bundesliga Match Facts premiering as graphics during broadcast games and on the official Bundesliga app for the 2021-22 season.

The two new graphiocs include Shot Efficiency and Passing Profile to help provide deeper understanding for fans of scoring and pass quality, a press release said.

“Teams, leagues, broadcasters, and their partners from across the sports world are using AWS to build data-driven solutions and elevate the fan experience," Klaus Buerg, general manager for AWS Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, said in an Amazon press release. "We’re excited to continue our work with Bundesliga to connect with their fans in a way they haven’t been able to before this collaboration. Through the work we’ve accomplished with Bundesliga in creating eight Bundesliga Match Facts in a short period of time, we are giving fans a new way to appreciate player speed, field positioning, goals, passing and shot efficiency, creating even more excitement in watching the game.”

These two new Match Facts will join already existing Match Facts of Speed Alert, Goal Probability, xGoals, Most Pressed Player, Attacking Zones and Average Positions, making eight insights available to fans  according to the press release.

Established in 1963, the Bundesliga is the top professional association soccer league in Germany. The 18 teams operate on a system of promotion and relegation with the Bundesliga 2. The league is broadcast in more than 200 countries and is operated by the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga.

AWS continues to be the world's most comprehensive and widely adapted cloud system used for the past 15 years, the press release said.
