Orlando, Florida-based Quality One wireless communications firm has landed on Inc. magazine's 5,000 list, according to a company press release.

The annual list is considered a prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies, with the likes of Microsoft, Under Armour and Patagonia having all received their first national recognition by being included.

"It's an honor and just a testament to the team that we have here; the hard work and determination that goes into every day," Quality One CEO John Chiorando told Globe Banner. "Over the last three years is a measurement about our growth and it is a benchmark that's been established and now, our goal is to continue to shoot for a higher number on the list to where we get an award."

Chiorando explained that Quality One has been in business for 20 years as "subject matter experts" that bring "products to market for the tier-one telecom carriers and handling the cradle cycle of that product.

"We are extremely grateful to be where we are, we are not satisfied we're looking to continue to be better every day, and hopefully that number looks a little better next year," Chiorando said.

Quality One's ranking on the list came in at number 2,378. The 5,000 companies were selected from out of approximately 7 million entries.

Next, Quality One plans to expand into South American, Chiorando said.

"This company is still performing pretty well, so we're going to expand into South America, and we do have some discussions on [our] European footprint," he said. "We're going to wait to see how the world kind of settles down in 2022 before we go that far."

Scott Omelianuk, Inc. magazine editor-in-chief, lauded the list members for "building in the crisis we've lived through."
