WeConnect is launching a market-entry service for foreign companies wishing to locate their operations in the U.S., the company said in a press release.

Based in New York, the firm will help overseas companies meet U.S. compliance requirements to do business here including payroll, banking, accounting and tax advice, plus recommendations on how to incorporate and the best locations to set up shop in the U.S., the release said. In addition, weConnect will provide foreign marketers information on how to hire employees in the U.S.

“The United States is a key strategic market for many companies,” weConnect CEO Scott Smoler said in the release. “However, compliantly operating an entity can be challenging, especially with different rules by state. When companies work with weConnect they can leave all that to us. Not only does this make their lives easier and give them peace of mind on the compliance front, but also it allows them to be more successful by enabling them to focus on their business expansion.”

WeConnect’s workforce includes 200 team members worldwide with 1,000 partners in 56 countries and represents the business interests of 3,000 clients, the release said. The firm has helped clients move their business operations into 120 countries.

Services in the U.S. are more fragmented than in any other country in the world and meeting the legal requirements can be daunting, the company said in the release.

The company’s website touted its ability to make global expansion and compliance easy through a six-point process that stresses “one,” including one support team, one software system, one digital platform, and one POC (proof of concept).

“Global expansion and operations solutions should make sense and be easy to understand,” the website stated.
