Suralink recently announced it will further expand globally by launching two cloud-based data centers in Germany and Canada.

Suralink is a leader in PBC request list and document workflow software, helping businesses who are being audited to simplify the document exchange process, the company said in a press release. A PBC request list is a list of items "provided by the client" that an auditor will need to perform an audit. The expansion will service firms worldwide including Canada, Europe and the European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) markets, the company said.

"This expansion marks an important step in Suralink's global growth," Jeremy Smith, Suralink chief technology officer, said in the release. "Data sovereignty will continue to be a non-negotiable issue for firms, and one that has not been addressed by the industry at large. With the launch of these two new regions, Suralink is uniquely positioned to provide international clients with the platform they need to grow their businesses."

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Suralink allows clients to store and access management and workflow data securely, using its cloud-based application integrated with a secure file hosting platform to serve as a single location for client interaction, the company said.

Since its founding in 2014, Suralink has provided PBC request list software to Canadian firms. Then in 2020, the organization announced a partnership with British accounting firm PFK Littlejohn to provide service and client support in the EMEA region, Suralink said.

"Suralink has long provided secure, robust and compliant solutions for our clients," Phil Broadbery, partner and chief data officer at PKF Littlejohn, said in the press release. "Having facilities housed in Germany will provide additional comfort and performance to E.U.-based clients. Suralink has transformed internal and client processes, and we look forward to the additional benefits that this announcement brings."

Suralink serves more than 550 clients in North America, the U.K. and EMEA region, the company said.
