San Francisco-based executive-search firm Riviera Partners is making its recruiting platform accessible to European businesses, the company announced in a press release.
The firm strives to help individuals equipped with technology expertise connect with companies in many areas throughout Europe including France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
“The decision to expand into Europe is not only a logical step in the development of our business but, more importantly, answers the growing demand of our global clients,” Riviera Partners CEO Will Hunsinger said in therelease. “Venture-capital and private-equity partners require the best talent in these markets and rely on Riviera to deliver that talent.”
Glenn Murphy, a Riviera senior partner in the UK, will lead the firm’s expansion efforts.
“The sheer number of European startups has been increasing yearly, and that kind of growth requires executive talent, which Riviera can identify and place successfully,” Murphy said in the release.
Riviera Partners is connecting with European startups such as Bumble, based out of London, and Sorare of Paris.
“The need for outstanding technology talent is not bound by borders, and we are excited to be offering our proven formula of specialized and tech-enabled recruiting to the European market,” Hunsinger said.
Riviera Partners has been dedicated to discovering the best technology talent for more than two decades, the press release stated.
The firm provides product management, software engineering and design services to startups, private investors and venture capitalists.
Riviera Partners’ expansion into Europe follows the company’s acquisition of Arete Partners, a search firm focused on finding talent for Seed-to-B-stage companies, earlier this year. Riviera also recently appointed former City of Oakland Chief IT Officer Andrew Peterson as its chief technology officer.
