Freelance management systems company Stoke recently announced that it is expanding its platform's support for international employees.

The company will be enhancing its platform to expand support for international employees by providing global payroll and compliance as an Employee of Record (EoR), according to a press release.

"As more companies adopt hybrid and remote models of working, our goal is to enable them to grow freely in whatever way suits them," Shahar Erez, Stoke co-founder and CEO, said in the release. "Rather than sourcing only local candidates, companies should think about who is the best talent out there to execute it – regardless of their location. By simplifying the process, we hope to remove barriers between employers and workers across the world."

To streamline interstate and international hiring, the platform also offers the seamless management of legal and tax liabilities for companies.

Compliance and payments are often the biggest challenges that companies with a global payroll face. Stoke's new EoR solution can help companies hire and pay employees in 150 different companies while ensuring full compliance.

Stoke also announced that the platform would increase its support for non-payroll workers including independent contractors, freelancers, consultants, and agencies.
