The cybersecurity firm Thrive is expanding into international waters after the entity acquired the U.K.-based company ONI.
ONI is a data center service provider located in Bedfordshire, England, and has served as a leader for IT solutions in the region. Thrive’s acquisition of the 25-year old company is Thrive’s first international expansion. With ONI, Thrive will be able to further establish their network in Europe, and continue to provide excellent digital transformation.
This is Thrive’s 11th expansion since 2016, with ONI joining the acquisition of U.S. companies such as Howard Tech Advisors and APEX IT group.
When asked why ONI was chosen, Thrive CEO Rob Stephenson said, “We were attracted to ONI due to their strong management team, led by CEO Kevin Kivlochan, attractive customer base and desirable geographic location, just north of London.”
Kivlochan expressed his support of the joining of the two companies and said they are "ecstatic" to join the Thrive family.
Kivlochan will remain in his leadership position, serving as Thrive’s chief executive for European Operations.
