The World Trade Organization (WTO) has released an updated edition of its compendium, "The WTO Agreements," providing consolidated access to the organization's legal framework in a single volume. This new publication replaces the 2017 edition, which was issued after the Agreement on Trade Facilitation came into effect.

The updated compendium includes the full text of the 1994 Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization and its annexes. It incorporates all amendments and additions made since the agreement's entry into force, covering changes up to September 2025.

Among the updates are significant agreements and amendments such as the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies and an amendment to the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS), which took effect in January 2017. The volume also features the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA), effective from February 2017, a revision to the Trade Policy Review Mechanism from July 2017, and details about the amended Government Procurement Agreement (GPA). The amended GPA, which entered into force in April 2014, replaced the original 1994 GPA for all parties as of January 2021.

"The WTO Agreements" is published in collaboration with Cambridge University Press and is available in English, French, and Spanish. Printed copies can be purchased through the WTO Online Bookshop, while electronic versions are accessible via the WTO’s website.
