The World Trade Organization (WTO) has released a series of documents related to the latest Trade Policy Review (TPR) of Sri Lanka. The review process includes an independent report prepared by the WTO Secretariat and a policy statement submitted by the Sri Lankan government. Both documents are examined and discussed by all WTO members in the Trade Policy Review Body (TPRB).

Trade Policy Reviews are a requirement under WTO agreements, designed to examine and evaluate the trade and related policies of member countries at regular intervals. The reviews also monitor significant developments that could affect the global trading system. All WTO members participate in these reviews, with the frequency depending on the size of the country.

The available documents for Sri Lanka's review include the Secretariat's detailed report, an executive summary, the government's full report, and the Chairperson's concluding remarks from the meeting.

The purpose of these reviews is to promote transparency and better understanding of each member’s trade policies and practices among all WTO members.
