On October 3, 2025, the U.S. Embassy in Bogota alerted American citizens to a planned pro-Palestinian protest in the city. The demonstration is expected to take place from approximately 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. outside the National Association of Entrepreneurs of Colombia (ANDI) at Calle 73 #8-13 in Chapinero.

The embassy noted that previous protests organized by the same group have led to road closures, graffiti, and confrontations with police. "U.S. Embassy Bogota will continue to monitor protest activity and provide updates if necessary," stated the embassy.

Americans in Bogota were advised to avoid crowds and protests, remain aware of their surroundings, wear minimal jewelry, carry few valuables, keep a low profile, avoid using cell phones in public, not physically resist robbery attempts, keep car doors locked and windows rolled up, and monitor local news for further information.
