The World Bank Group has updated its Gender Data Landscapes for Fall 2025, introducing a new two-page format. The first page presents key indicators aligned with the WBG Gender Strategy outcomes, enabling users to track progress over time and compare results across regions and income groups. The second page features data from the Global Findex 2025, focusing on financial and digital inclusion to support the development of policies that improve access to finance and employment opportunities.
According to the announcement, these updates are intended to provide actionable insights for designing interventions that promote gender equality in economic participation. The data covers countries across all major world regions, including East Asia and Pacific, Europe and Central Asia, Latin America and Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa (including Afghanistan and Pakistan), South Asia, Africa Eastern and Southern, as well as Africa Western and Central.
The most recent update was completed in September 2025.
