The World Trade Organization (WTO) has extended the registration deadline for its 2025 Public Forum to August 28. The event, titled "Enhance, Create and Preserve," will focus on how a modernized and digitalized trading system can improve living standards, create jobs, and support sustainable resource management. Participants will also discuss the risks and opportunities brought by new digital tools.

Registration for the forum is free, but participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. More details about this year's event can be found on the WTO's official website.

The Public Forum is the WTO’s largest outreach event. It serves as a platform for stakeholders from around the world to discuss current developments in global trade and suggest ways to strengthen the multilateral trading system. Each year, more than 2,000 representatives from civil society, academia, business, government, international organizations, and media attend. Additional information about previous forums is available online.

For questions regarding participation or registration, interested parties are encouraged to contact the Public Forum Team at pf25@wto.org.
