The Fulbright Foreign Student Program, sponsored by the U.S. government, is a prominent international exchange initiative aimed at fostering mutual understanding between the United States and Algeria. The program provides an opportunity for graduate students to pursue master's degrees in the United States.

Applications are open until June 12, 2025. Due to the high volume of applications, individual feedback will not be provided to every applicant. Only those who advance to the interview stage will be contacted.

To qualify for this program, applicants must meet several criteria: they must be citizens or permanent residents able to hold a passport from Algeria and reside in Algeria throughout all stages of the application process. U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents are not eligible. Applicants should have a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by the start date of the program and possess a strong academic background.

While two years of professional work experience is optional, preference is given to candidates with little or no prior experience studying or living in the United States. Proficiency in English is required; however, applicants may attend a Long-Term English (LTE) program if needed before starting their academic studies.

Candidates can apply for most fields of study including humanities, social sciences, science, technology, and engineering. However, programs involving clinical studies such as medicine and nursing are excluded; non-clinical programs like public health and nursing administration are allowed.
