The U.S. Embassy's American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Social Security Administration (SSA), will offer in-person services in Angeles City on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
The ACS will provide notarial services, accept Consular Report of Birth Abroad applications, and process U.S. passport applications. Passport applicants are reminded that many renewals can be submitted by mail. In-person services are necessary for applicants under age 18, those replacing lost or stolen passports, first-time applicants or those applying after age 16, and renewals of passports issued more than 15 years ago.
The VA team will assist with benefits inquiries, compensation or pension applications, and PACT Act claims. They will also offer preventive immunizations, health screenings, patient education on healthy living, and support for Foreign Medical Program enrollment.
Mental health support includes suicide prevention resources and Veteran Crisis Line information. The SSA will discuss eligibility for Social Security benefits and process Social Security Number applications while addressing issues like address changes or Medicare enrollment.
Venue details will be provided about a week before the event. Attendees are encouraged to complete a survey regarding their needs: https://forms.office.com/g/89yh8PnCvZ
