UOB and Accenture have entered into a strategic partnership to apply advanced technologies, including generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), in transforming customer experiences over the next three years. This collaboration marks the first time Accenture has partnered with a Singaporean bank in an AI-focused initiative.

UOB aims to redefine and enhance customer experiences through technological innovation. The bank plans to utilize Accenture’s AI-driven solutions, including the AI Refinery platform, to implement GenAI solutions that enhance business processes, boost productivity, manage risks, and personalize customer experiences on a large scale efficiently.

Additionally, UOB is focusing on upskilling its workforce to utilize advanced technologies effectively. The collaboration with Accenture will enable UOB employees access to training programs via Accenture’s LearnVantage services, helping them incorporate these technologies into their work and enhance customer engagement.

Mr. Wee Ee Cheong, Deputy Chairman and CEO of UOB, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are excited about the immense potential that advanced technologies offer.
