The U.S. Embassy’s American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit, along with representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Philippine Retirement Agency (PRA), will host a remote services event in Davao City, Philippines, on March 25, 2025. The event aims to provide various services to U.S. citizens living in the area.
The event will be held at the Tebow Cure Hospital located on J.P. Laurel Avenue, Bajada, Davao City. ACS services will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with sign-up starting at 7:30 a.m., while VA services will be accessible from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and early arrival is recommended for securing a spot.
Available ACS services include notarial services, Consular Report of Birth Abroad applications, and U.S. passport applications. The VA will offer health-related services for eligible veterans and assistance with VA benefits and claims. PRA representatives will provide information and assistance for retirees in the Philippines.
Participants should bring original documents and photocopies required for their specific service needs. Passport applicants need to bring a passport photograph that meets specified requirements as no printing or photography services are available onsite due to hospital guidelines requiring face masks.
Parking is unavailable at the venue; attendees are advised to consider parking at nearby establishments or SM Lanang.
Attendees are encouraged to complete an online survey indicating which services they require to help organizers anticipate attendance levels.
For passport applicants, many renewals can be submitted by mail if eligible; otherwise, certain conditions necessitate an in-person application process detailed on the embassy's website.
Applicants for Citizenship and Passport services must review all relevant information on the U.S. Embassy website before attending to ensure their applications are processed swiftly.
Fees for ACS services must be paid in exact change using Philippine pesos only:
- Adult passport (DS-11) - ₱9,900
- Minor passport (under 16) - ₱8,100
- Passport renewal (minor) - ₱8,100
