The United States has extended its congratulations to Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic following their agreement to delineate and demarcate their shared border. This achievement underscores the dedication of both governments to diplomacy and regional stability.

"Settling border disputes is one of the most difficult diplomatic tasks a government can undertake, and we commend the vision and determination of both governments’ leaders to overcome obstacles," stated a U.S. representative. The agreement is seen as a potential catalyst for enhanced trade, stronger people-to-people connections, and greater prosperity and peace not only for the two nations but also for the surrounding region.
