Every day, women play a crucial role in inspiring, supporting, and strengthening their families and communities across the United States. In recognition of these contributions, President Donald J. Trump has issued a proclamation declaring March 2025 as Women’s History Month.

In his statement, President Trump emphasized the importance of celebrating the impact women have had on the nation. "The First Lady and I honor American women from all generations and all backgrounds who have been integral to our prosperity and productivity," he stated.

President Trump also highlighted the achievements of female leaders within his administration, noting their expertise in various fields such as business, policy, national security, law, and public service. He reiterated his commitment to safeguarding traditional values by opposing what he termed as "radical ideologies" that could undermine women's spaces or promote gender extremism.

The President detailed actions taken by his administration to uphold these values. These include an Executive Order signed on his first day in office recognizing biological distinctions between men and women and discontinuing the use of an "X" gender marker on government forms. Additionally, another Executive Order was signed to protect women's sports by ensuring fair competition for female athletes through Title IX action against non-compliant institutions.

President Trump also pointed out changes made by athletic associations following his administration's policies to restrict women's sports participation to biologically female athletes only.

Beyond gender-related policies, President Trump mentioned efforts to secure borders, deport illegal criminal aliens, rebuild the economy, promote school choice, improve health care access including in vitro fertilization options—all part of what he described as ongoing initiatives for America’s families.

Concluding his proclamation with a call for national celebration of women's contributions during Women's History Month, President Trump declared: "I call on all Americans to celebrate the exceptional women in their lives and around our country."
