The U.S. Embassy has issued an important reminder to all individuals applying for immigrant visas. Applicants are required to thoroughly and accurately complete the DS 260 form, which is available online through the Consular Electronic Application Center. To access the form, applicants must use the unique case number and invoice ID number provided by the National Visa Center.

The application process requires candidates to provide detailed information about their current and past employment, education, and training. Additionally, they must list their current address along with all addresses they have lived at since age 16. All security and background questions on the form must be answered fully and truthfully.

Omitting or failing to include any required information may result in an incomplete visa application, leading to delays in both consular interviews and visa processing.

"The U.S. Embassy emphasizes the importance of providing complete and accurate information," a spokesperson noted. "Applicants should ensure that every section of the DS 260 form is filled out thoroughly."
