The U.S. Embassy is set to implement changes in its passport application process at Consular Agencies located in Antigua, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Montserrat, Saint Barthelemy, and Saint Martin. The update aims to enhance customer service and efficiency.
Effective March 17, all passport applications must be submitted using pre-printed forms via the online Passport Wizard at "https://pptform.state.gov/PassportWizardMain.aspx". Handwritten applications will no longer be accepted. This measure is intended to expedite processing times and increase the number of applications processed.
In addition, the embassy will transition to accepting only online payments. Cash, credit cards, or bank drafts will not be accepted at the agencies. Payments for form DS-11 can be made at "https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1274042472", while payments for form DS-82 should be directed to "https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1156527186".
For inquiries, individuals can contact BridgetownACS@state.gov or visit the U.S. Embassy's website at "https://bb.usembassy.gov/". Emergency contact is available at 1-246-227-4000.
Further assistance can be sought from the State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs through their toll-free number 1-888-407-4747 for calls from the United States and Canada or 1-202-501-4444 from other countries.
The embassy encourages enrollment in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) for security updates and recommends visiting Ready.Gov for emergency preparedness information.
