The United States Embassy in Suva, Fiji, has announced that it will provide consular services to U.S. citizens in Noumea, New Caledonia on February 20-21, 2025. Services will be available from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The embassy will accept applications for various American Citizen Services. These include reports of birth abroad and U.S. passport applications. Notary services for documents intended for use in the United States will also be offered.

Applicants should note the following estimated processing times: Emergency Limited Passports may take 2-3 weeks, Regular Passports 4-6 weeks, and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad 5-7 weeks. These timelines assume that applications are complete and approvable, with prior arrangements made for return shipment via courier companies like FedEx or DHL.

Applicants are advised to visit the embassy's website to review required documentation for different services. In addition to original documents, black and white photocopies of all original documents, IDs, and passport bio pages must be brought.

Appointments are mandatory for these services. To schedule an appointment, applicants should email SuvaACS@state.gov. Interview attendance is restricted to applicants and parents of minors only.

Once appointments are confirmed, applicants will receive information about necessary documents as well as fee details and payment options.
