This year marks the 18th annual International Education Week (IEW), scheduled from November 12 to 16. The event is a collaborative effort by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, aimed at highlighting the advantages of international education and exchange programs globally. Originally designed to motivate American students to study abroad, IEW now also supports foreign students interested in studying in the United States. Over 100 countries, including Poland, participate in IEW celebrations.
A notable event during this year's IEW is the International Students Day Virtual College Fair, organized by CollegeWeekLive and EducationUSA on November 14. This virtual fair attracts over 20,000 students worldwide each year, offering them an opportunity to engage with international student recruiters from more than 80 U.S. higher education institutions.
