The U.S. Embassy in Manila has announced details for upcoming remote services events scheduled for January 28, 2025, in Angeles City and January 29, 2025, in Olongapo City. The American Citizens Services (ACS) unit will be joined by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Social Security Administration (SSA) to provide various services from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event aims to accommodate high demand, with early arrival recommended due to limited capacity. Participants are encouraged to complete an online survey regarding their service needs prior to attending.
In Angeles City, services will be held at the Clark Marriott Hotel starting at approximately 7:00 a.m., while in Olongapo City, the Mansion Garden Hotel will host attendees at the same start time.
Services offered by ACS include notarial acts, acceptance of Consular Report of Birth Abroad applications, and passport application processing. Specific guidelines apply for passport applicants under age 18 and those replacing lost or stolen passports.
Payment for ACS services is accepted only in Philippine pesos and must be exact change. Fees range from PHP 3,100 for notarial services per act to PHP 10,230 for adult passport applications.
The VA team will assist with benefits inquiries, medical services including immunizations and health screenings, as well as mental health support resources such as suicide prevention awareness.
SSA representatives will address Social Security benefit claims and issues like address changes or Medicare enrollment.
