The Judo Academy Sports Club from Poznań is organizing the Brother Olympic Camp, an annual event for judo athletes in junior and senior categories. This year's camp will take place in Luboń from April 17 to 19, 2019. American judo player Jimmy Pedro, a two-time Olympic medalist and trainer of four Olympic medalists, is the featured guest.
The club has been active since 2009 and is among the largest judo clubs in Poland. Its trainees include youth medalists of the Polish Championships and Polish Senior Champion Eliza Wróblewska. The club competes in official national competitions across all age groups and participates in international events such as the European Cup and Grand Prix.
Previous editions of the Olympic Camp have hosted notable judo figures like Israel's Jarden Gerbi, a bronze medalist at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics and World Champion in 2013, as well as American Travis Stevens, a silver medalist at the Rio Olympics.
The Embassy has partnered with the club for this year's edition of the Brother Olympic Camp – "the Olympic Stars."
