Cairo – The U.S. Embassy has expressed strong condemnation of the terrorist attack that led to the death of Prosecutor General Hisham Barakat and left several others injured. In a statement, the Embassy extended its "deepest condolences to Prosecutor General Barakat’s family and to all others affected by the attack." The United States reaffirmed its commitment to support Egypt in combating terrorism.
