The U.S. Embassy in Cairo is expanding its employment initiative, "Shaghlna," by hosting the job fair in Luxor for the first time. This event aims to connect businesses with job seekers from Upper Egypt and will take place on May 12. The collaboration involves the U.S. Embassy and the Governorate of Luxor.

Thomas Goldberger, Charge d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, emphasized the importance of economic growth, stating, "Supporting a strong and prosperous Egyptian economy capable of creating promising employment opportunities is among the key priorities of the U.S. Embassy in Egypt." He further noted that bringing this event to Luxor highlights their commitment to economic development throughout Egypt.

The fair will feature over 33 companies offering more than 1,500 job vacancies. Additionally, attendees will have access to professional development and training sessions.
