Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) has been recognized for its sustainability efforts by the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA). The company received the Corporate Sustainability Report - Platinum Award for the sixth consecutive year and was honored with the Taiwan Top 100 Sustainable Model Enterprise Award. These awards highlight Yuanta FHC's commitment to sustainability and the common good.

The TCSA, now in its seventeenth year, saw participation from 164 entities this year. A total of 1,731 experts and scholars evaluated the awards, which align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, to select outstanding enterprises. Yuanta FHC consistently publishes high-quality sustainability reports and communicates transparently with stakeholders. The company's reports undergo independent verification by third-party organizations, reflecting its dedication to sustainability information management and disclosure quality.

In the financial sector, Yuanta FHC plays a pivotal role in promoting sustainability. As a member of the Coalition of Movers and Shakers on Sustainable Finance and convener of the Empowerment and Certification Working Group of the Net-Zero Promotion Working Platform, Yuanta FHC has developed a code of practice for sustainable finance practitioners. It has also supported Taiwan's first sustainable finance license through collaboration with the Securities and Futures Institute. Additionally, Yuanta FHC has introduced a NT$1,300 subsidy for employees seeking a basic sustainable finance license to support talent cultivation in sustainable development.

Addressing climate change impacts is another focus area for Yuanta FHC. The company has implemented an ISO environmental management system through matrix management and completed a carbon inventory of investment and financing assets. It leads in internalizing external costs by adopting an internal carbon pricing system (ICP). Yuanta FHC participates in international initiatives such as being an Early Adopter of Nature-Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), supporting the Partnership for Biodiversity Accounting Financials (PBAF), and committing to net-zero emissions by 2050.

Yuanta FHC continues to promote sustainable financial products by leveraging financial influence to enhance engagement and divestment strategies related to high carbon emission industries within Yuanta Group. Its subsidiary, Yuanta Securities, achieved product carbon footprint and carbon neutrality certifications for its "Mr. Investor APP." Furthermore, it assisted Taiwan’s Ministry of Environment in developing Product Category Rules (PCR) for online services related to securities, futures, investment trust, and consulting. Notably, it became Taiwan's first securities company to obtain a carbon label for "Online Investment and Wealth Management Services," working alongside customers and investors towards a low-carbon sustainable financial ecosystem.
