The World Trade Organization (WTO) has opened registration for the second public hearing in the dispute between the United States and Argentina regarding tubular goods. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM Geneva time on November 19, 2024, and may continue until 5:00 PM. It will resume at the same time on November 20.

Public observation of the meeting will be available remotely via livestreaming or in a viewing room at the WTO premises. However, attendees must register in advance. The meeting could be closed by the panel to discuss confidential information or if there is a risk of confidentiality breach or disruption.

Registration requires completing an application form and sending it via email to openmeetingds617@wto.org by 5:00 PM Geneva time on November 12, 2024. Successful applicants will receive confirmation by November 15 with details on accessing the viewings.

Registered viewers' names may be shared with both Argentina and the United States upon request. On-site viewers must present valid identification and access will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis based on completed registrations.

Participants must confirm their understanding that recording or sharing of any part of the livestream or broadcast is prohibited. Remote viewers are also prohibited from sharing access credentials, while mobile phones must be turned off for those attending in person.

The WTO notes that it cannot provide support for accommodation, travel arrangements, or visas for attendees.
