Applications are now open for the WTO Advanced Course on Analyzing Trade in Services. This course is designed to help participants become familiar with analytical tools such as the I-TIP services interface, the Services Trade Policy Database, and the World Bank-WTO Services Trade Restrictions Index. These tools are crucial for establishing national frameworks to analyze services trade policies and formulate negotiating strategies.

The program aims to enhance participants' independence in developing services trade policies and integrating these into their national trade policy plans. Experts from the WTO Secretariat and other international institutions will lead the course, which will be conducted in English.

The workshop targets government officials from WTO members and observers who qualify for WTO training activities. Applicants should have direct policy responsibility or a proven background in trade in services or have completed a previous WTO training activity. Proficiency in English is also required.

Eligible WTO members and observers are encouraged to nominate government officials by April 25, 2024. Detailed application procedures can be found through official channels.
