Registration has opened for a public hearing in the US-Argentina dispute concerning tubular goods. The meeting with the parties is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM (Geneva time) on July 10, 2024, and may continue until 5:00 PM. It will resume on July 11, if necessary, after the third-party session.

The meeting can be viewed remotely via livestreaming or in a viewing room at the World Trade Organization (WTO), subject to prior registration. The panel may close the meeting at any time to discuss confidential information or if there is a risk of disruption.

The third-party session will start at 9:00 AM on July 11. The panel will open this session to public viewing for statements from third parties who wish to make their statements during the public session. This portion can also be viewed in a WTO viewing room upon prior registration. The panel will close the session to public viewing before hearing statements from third parties that prefer not to present publicly and may do so at any time if confidentiality risks arise.

Public observation of the meeting will be conducted in English only, with no interpretation services available. To register for either the meeting with the parties or the open portion of the third-party session, interested individuals must complete an application form and send it via email attachment to openmeetingds617@wto.org by 5:00 PM Geneva time on July 2, 2024. Confirmation emails with further access details will be sent by July 5, 2024.

Registered viewers' names may be shared with Argentina and the United States upon request. On-site viewers at the WTO must present valid identification and will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of a completed registration form.

Registrants must confirm their understanding that sharing of livestreams or broadcasts through any media is strictly prohibited. Remote viewers must also agree not to share web-links or access credentials. Cell phones must be turned off for those attending in person.

The WTO does not provide support for accommodation, flights, or visas.
