Canadian pharmacies are set to enhance patient safety and adherence through the introduction of new automation equipment and software. This development is a result of a partnership between JFCRx and Healthmark Services Limited, as disclosed in a recent news release.

Healthmark Services Ltd., a division of Richards Packaging, has a longstanding relationship with JFCRx, despite the latter being relatively new to the Canadian market. The partnership was announced in an April 22 news release.

"We are thrilled to once again be working with the founders of JFCRx. Their leadership team is comprised of the most innovative, dynamic, and respected leaders in the industry. This new suite of products has been customized to meet the needs of Canadian pharmacies, and we look forward to providing them to our client base," said Michael Bussiere, senior vice president of Healthmark Services Limited.

JFCRx provides a wide range of pharmacy automation solutions, from equipment and software to business process improvement and comprehensive analytics. The company collaborates with pharmacies to enhance efficiency, increase profits, and reduce costs through automation.

Through this collaboration with Healthmark, pharmacies can utilize JFCRx solutions such as TruPak - an automated pouch packaging system for medication tablets that combines hardware and software. Other solutions include TruCheck for accurate inspection, verification, and storage of filled labeled pouches; and TruScript - a semi-automated vial filling solution.

"As pharmacies across Canada focus on finding more innovative and effective ways to drive efficiency and automation, we are excited to partner with Healthmark Services Ltd. to bring our analytics-based automation offering to the market. Healthmark’s 30+ year leadership position in the Canadian healthcare community will be critical for our two organizations to help pharmacy customers not only ‘do more with less’ but also increase accuracy and patient safety," said Duane Chudy, Chairman of JFCRx.

Since 1990, Healthmark has supplied products and systems to pharmaceutical companies and medical facilities, aimed at improving efficiency, security, and ease of use, according to Healthmark’s website.

JFCRx's offerings include order routing, data management, and dashboards as part of its EnLite Management System. This system also encompasses TruCard blister card automation; TruPak pouch automation; TruCheck pouch inspection; and TruScript vial filling.
