Okamura assumed his new position on March 5, bringing with him a wealth of experience as an Artificial Intelligence engineer and data analyst. His previous employer remains undisclosed by GA Technologies.
Before joining GA Technologies, Okamura was part of Eureka, Inc., beginning in 2019. He held the role of Executive Officer of the Data Director, according to his biography in the news release dated March 4 that announced his appointment. Okamura holds a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Faculty of Science at Kyoto University, earned in 2014. Before obtaining his doctorate, he completed a research fellowship with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
"What I value the most is the utilization of data (science) in the right way to contribute to any kind of business and to make positive impacts on our society. I have many different experiences with data analysis, AI, data governance etc., I believe I can bring these experiences to GA technologies and to the real estate industry to make a change. Data science is indeed something that relates to all the teams in the Company, to the business, and to people," Okamura said in the news release dated March 4.
GA Technologies was established in 2013 by Ryo Higuchi and has its headquarters in Tokyo's Minato District. The company operates RENOSY, an investment real estate service, along with approximately two dozen subsidiaries including ITANDI Co., Ltd, Modern Standard Co., Ltd, Shenjumiausuan Co., Ltd and 21 other companies. Renosy is a platform facilitating investment, management, purchasing and sales as described on GA Technologies' website section dedicated to this specific segment of their operations.
