Yamin Shihab has ascended to the position of managing director at Colliers Project Leaders, following a tenure of over 12 years with the company. As of February 22nd, he will be responsible for spearheading new business development and operations in the Middle East.
Colliers Project Leaders is a leading provider of project advisement services in the Middle East and North America, boasting more than three decades of industry experience. The company offers a broad range of services including project management, construction solutions, integrated project delivery, lean services, infrastructure advisory, and furniture equipment planning. Their diverse teams operate across various sectors such as civic projects, colleges and universities, healthcare, industrial and manufacturing among others.
Shihab began his journey with Colliers Project Leaders in 2011 in Calgary, Canada according to a news release dated February 22 that announced his promotion. He transitioned into a leadership role within the Middle East division in 2015 and is now poised to expand and fortify business relationships within this region.

Shihab's career trajectory in project management dates back to July 2000 when he served as a site engineer for Montazah Real Estate Developments in Alexandria, Egypt. His subsequent roles included nearly two-and-a-half years with CRC-DORRA in Dubai and multiple positions at Union Properties, also in Dubai, starting in March 2004. Shihab joined Colliers in March 2011 and held the position of senior project manager and team lead in Calgary for almost four years before being appointed Vice President of the company’s Middle East business, according to his LinkedIn profile.
