According to her LinkedIn page, Boardman holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Nevada, Reno where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from the same university. Her career at Michael Baker International spans nearly 22 years during which she held positions such as Vice President and CMS project management office director; associate vice president; operations manager among others. Prior to joining Michael Baker International, she worked as a publications specialist at Placer Dome Exploration for one year.
Michael Baker International's history dates back to May 1, 1940, when the company opened its first office at Penn-Beaver Hotel in Rochester, Pennsylvania. The company’s first engineering design contract was awarded by the PA Department of Highways in 1943 for the 9.5-mile Parkway East.
