Kristyn Wallace, previously the Regional Vice President of Revenue and Country Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan at Emarsys, has joined Maropost. In her new role, she will be responsible for assisting local retailers in launching and scaling their businesses.

Maropost is a comprehensive platform that caters to marketing, commerce, retail, and other sectors. It provides solutions for a wide range of industries including ecommerce, electronics, wholesale, automotive, travel and tourism. Founded in 2011, Maropost has collaborated with various brands and serves thousands of clients across North America, Australia, and Europe.

Wallace's appointment comes after her successful tenure at Emarsys where she worked closely with Sean Brady, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Maropost. Commenting on Wallace's appointment, Brady said: "In 2021, Maropost acquired Neto, Australia’s leading unified e-commerce platform. In 2022, we acquired Retail Express, the country’s first cloud-based point-of-sale platform. Although Maropost is a global company, we remain committed to providing world-class sales and support to ANZ from in-market experts led by Kristyn. She’s not only well-known in the region but also a retail thought leader with a deep understanding of the market."

During her six-year stint at Emarsys, Wallace successfully doubled the company's business while helping regional merchants attract new customers and retain existing ones. Having lived in Australia for over a decade as stated in her biography on the Maropost website.

Wallace expressed her enthusiasm about her new role saying: "I am thrilled to build on the home-grown success of Retail Express and Neto in Australia and New Zealand. As customers know both products contain a remarkable amount of customer gold. It’s my job to help merchants mine it. It’s remarkable that an international company like Maropost is so serious about investing in ANZ. It’s a huge opportunity, and I’m both grateful and excited to lead the charge."

Wallace holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Mount Allison University and attended the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. Her professional journey includes roles as a digital account manager for Salmat, sales manager for Upskilled, and Courses Now, in addition to her positions at Emarsys and Maropost.
