TTEC Engage COO on new delivery center: 'Opening a new delivery center in Honduras is an exciting next step'

TTEC Holdings, Inc., based in Denver, confirmed plans to open a new customer experience delivery center in Honduras, according to a press release.

"Opening a new delivery center in Honduras is an exciting next step for TTEC as we continue to expand our geographic footprint to meet the needs and requirements of our clients," Chuck Koskovich, COO of TTEC Engage, said. "Honduras is an emerging nearshore location for our U.S.-based clients and is part of our ongoing effort to identify new delivery locations, launch new sites and scale in markets where we already have a presence."

The expansion will allow TTEC to offer digitally-enabled CX services to local clients, promoting hundreds of new jobs in the region. The new Honduras customer experience delivery center will assist clients across various industries.

Honduras now joins a catalog of other Latin American countries with existing delivery systems installed by TTEC, including Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica and Mexico. Additional expansion efforts in the region are expected to be carried out later this year. The company is now accepting applications for eligible roles in Honduras.

TTEC identified the potential San Pedro Sula had for its operational expansion after spotting its nearshore option for North American clients and time zone convenience, among other benefits.

“San Pedro Sula has become an attractive nearshore option for North American clients due to its location in the Central Time Zone and large English-speaking talent pool,” a recent press release explains. “Full-immersion English is taught in schools and the country hosts 11 universities, which provide an opportunity to attract high-quality talent.”
