Chetu recently modified its global leadership team, promoting Rick Heicksen to vice president of sales, and Shak Ahmed to director of sales for Europe and the Middle East, according to a press release.
“Our client base continues to expand around the world, and we are well-prepared to meet the growing software development demand,”Atal Bansal, founder and CEO of Chetu, said. “Developing our team members into leadership roles has always been a part of our corporate philosophy, and both Rick and Shak have proven more than ready to lead their respective teams. Under their guidance, we are confident in Chetu’s continued success through 2023 and beyond.”
Under their newly appointed roles, Ahmed and Heicksen will work to develop Chetu’s international operations and make its services more easily accessible to its global customers.
Heicksen initially joined Chetu in 2019 as a national account manager. He brings in two decades of business development experience.
Under Heicksen’s new role, he will oversee Chetu’s food and beverage, agriculture, transportation, energy and IT service management verticals.
Counting with the support of a team based in regions across the globe, Heicksen will work out of Chetu’s Arizona offices in Tempe, while Ahmed manages the company’s sales office in Birmingham, England.
Ahmed began his tenure with Chetu last year as a national account manager, contributing more than 16 years of business development experience. He will oversee all divisions based in Europe and the Middle East, including IT service management, energy and transportation.
The changes result from an acceleration in demand, resulting in one of Chetu’s strongest fiscal years ever recorded. Since 2020, the company has achieved double-digit growth.
Chetu has a total of 14 locations worldwide.
"Chetu's specialized technology and industry experts drive innovation for startups, SMBs and Fortune 5000 companies with an unparalleled software delivery model suited to meet the needs of the client," a recent press release stated.
