Fintech Clave’s Latin American division, Clave Créditos S.A., based in Connecticut, has teamed up with Santander Consumer S.A. to offer consumer loan services in Argentina, according to a press release.

"In 2021, Santander Consumer committed to providing Argentina with a comprehensive financial service platform,” Martín Solano, CEO of Santander Consumer in Argentina, said. “We believe Clave's digital ecosystem will support this mission."

The partnership correlates with Clave’s technological innovations and Santander Consumer's operational presence in 23 countries, serving more than 25 million clients.

"Clave is thrilled to collaborate with Santander Consumer, a proven leader in credit throughout Europe and the Americas," said Clave CEO Pablo Pizzimbono. "Their trust further validates Clave's offering."

Clave contributes modern technology and structured credit capabilities to the Latin American funding market.

In the previous year, Clave has secured over $7 million in seed fund through a round led by executives with extensive expertise in finance, technology and Latin America. Through this investment, Clave has made vast advancements in 2023.

"Our B2B partnerships with the likes of established private equity firm Kandeo – and its array of Latin America portfolio companies – and the innovative factoring enterprise Liquitech enable Clave to connect SMEs and consumers with global capital. Our work with Santander advances this strategy,” Pizzimbono said. “Clave looks forward to its continued development in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and beyond."
