Highspot, based in Seattle, Washington, has expanded into Canada with a new opening in Vancouver, British Columbia, according to a press release.
"This move into Vancouver is an exciting opportunity for Highspot to tap into the multicultural talent of the city and network of esteemed Canadian universities," Bhrighu Sareen, president of product and engineering, Highspot, said. "At Highspot, we're on a mission to deliver breakthrough products. I look forward to partnering with outstanding talent in the area and contributing to Canada's innovation and economic success as we work toward our vision."
The company has opened now Vancouver-based hybrid roles specializing in product, design, cybersecurity and engineering.
“Industry-diverse customers with Canadian headquarters, including Hootsuite, MDA and TELUS, trust Highspot to increase sales productivity and power their revenue engines,” a recent press release states. “Now with operations in Vancouver, Highspot is well-positioned to best serve its Canadian customer base.”
As part of its career talent development and recruitment strategy, Highspot has also partnered with Simon Fraser University's School of Computing Science and expanded its Accelerate apprenticeship program to Vancouver, granting students access to the cybersecurity master's program, and the opportunity to participate in these apprenticeships and gain valuable work experience. The company will offer tailored experiences to help jumpstart their careers and encourage professional growth.
"Choosing Vancouver as the location for Highspot's new home in Canada serves as a testament to B.C.'s incredible talent and high caliber educational facilities that create a conducive environment for success," said Brenda Bailey, minister of jobs, economic development and innovation. "I look forward to exploring partnerships with Highspot to create opportunities for the many skilled technologists and engineers in B.C.'s diverse workforce."
The office is the fifth of its kind to be established internationally by the sales enablement platform, with other customer bases in the U.S., Australia-New Zealand and Europe. Highspot has attributed much of its recent revenue growth to its global expansion, with its EMEA operations contributing more than 10% of the total revenue.
Highspot has received recognition from one of PEOPLE's 100 Companies that Care, and Fortune Magazine's Best Places to Work.
