Tanium was recently listed as one of Japan’s Best Workplaces, according to a press release.

“We are honored to be part of this prestigious list,” Chikara Furuichi, president of Asia Pacific Japan at Tanium, said. “Tanium is experiencing tremendous momentum throughout the region, which is a testament to our great team. It has been an exciting eight years here and we look forward to more success in the future.”

The IT and security solutions provider was awarded the rank by Great Place to Work, which determines results based on comprehensive employee feedback and industry benchmarking. The company has been recognized by the 2022 FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For and UK’s list of Best Workplaces.

The company recently confirmed plans to improve the management of operations with its innovative platform, and converged endpoint management (XEM). The program integrates IT, operations, security and risk into one platform to reduce organizational silos and protect every endpoint and workflow from cyber threats.

The news comes as Tanium continues its effort to expand globally and prioritize enterprise customers.

“The company values its employees and provides them with comprehensive benefits, including mental health support, weekly yoga and meditation,” a recent press release states. “Personal and professional development are also a priority, with leadership training provided to all staff.”

Deemed the first to offer Tanium Cloud outside of the U.S. in 2021, the company currently serves 2.5 million endpoints in the Japanese region. The company also opened its new location in the heart of the Otemachi business district in Tokyo last year. Through the use of XEM, Tanium is helping organizations unify control and better protect their teams and operations from security threats.

"Tanium’s founders ingrained our values into everything we do, with an emphasis on collaboration, tenacity and integrity,” Tobias Julen, chief people officer at Tanium said. “We believe that we serve a greater purpose as a company – to help keep global organizations safe from digital threats. Industry recognition, such as this, validates our teams’ tireless commitment to the ongoing success of our customers and the relentless drive for innovation at Tanium.”
