Essentium CEO on new appointments: 'I look forward to working with them to achieve our next wave of accelerated growth'

Essentium, Inc. recently appointed Edna Garcia to the role of chief financial officer and Will Chiang as chief operations officer, a press release reported.

"Edna and Will are seasoned executives with an exemplary track record of driving operational and financial performance,” Essentium CEO Blake Teipel said. “Their experience, discipline and performance-driven leadership will be instrumental in executing our strategy and driving long-term value for our customers. I look forward to working with them to achieve our next wave of accelerated growth in the AM industry."

Under her new role, Garcia will be tasked with overseeing Essentium’s strategic plan to enable “an open AM ecosystem.” Before assuming her role with the company, Garcia worked as vice president, controller at Onnit, and held various senior financial roles at B2B Legal Management and PepsiCo.

Under his role as COO, Chiang will be tasked with developing the company’s operations, IT, legal and supply chain abilities. Before joining Essentium in 2017, Chiang worked for Jabil, Panasonic Avionics Corporation, Mophie and Foxlink. Both executives will be tasked with overseeing the organization's AM growth-related strategy tactics.
